INTERLOCK IGNITION
An ignition interlock device or breath alcohol ignition interlock device (IID or BAIID) is a breathalyzer installed in a vehicle. It necessitates the driver to blow into a mouthpiece on the device before starting the vehicle. If the breath-alcohol concentration analyzed result is greater than the programmed blood alcohol concentration (which varies between countries), the device prevents the engine from being started. It is a form of electronic monitoring and it must be installed properly in the right place.
